Image color picker: find the color codes in your logo
Upload your logo or paste a screenshot: its colors show up in HEX and RGB, with a CMYK estimate for print. Click the image to pick one specific color. Free, no sign-up.
The file is read on your device. It only leaves your browser if you click “Vectorize this logo”.
This file is over 10 MB, too large to vectorize. You can still get its color codes here.
Your logo’s colors
If your printer wants CMYK, ask which profile they use. Our values are for standard offset (FOGRA39), so theirs may differ.

Which color code does each pro need?
HEX and RGB describe a color on screen. Your website, your social media and your designer work with them. An embroidery shop matches its threads to the color, so send them the HEX along with the file.
CMYK is for your printer, on offset and digital presses alike. For a brand color that has to match everywhere, they can also use a spot color, a premixed ink. Either way, send the vector file with your list of codes, and approve a proof before the run.
Why CMYK is only an estimate
A screen mixes red, green and blue light. A printer layers four inks on paper. Very bright screen colors, like a neon green or an electric blue, can’t be reproduced in ink: they print duller, and the tool flags them.
Our CMYK comes from a standard offset printing profile (FOGRA39, coated paper). Your printer may use another one: in the US, GRACoL and SWOP are common, and textile printing works differently again. If your brand guidelines or your print shop give other values, use theirs.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find the color code from an image?
Upload the image at the top of this page, or paste a screenshot. The tool finds its main colors and shows their HEX and RGB codes, plus a CMYK estimate. For one specific color, click it in the image. In Chrome or Edge on a computer, “Pick from screen” grabs a color anywhere on your screen.
Is my logo sent anywhere?
No. It is read on your device and only leaves your browser if you click “Vectorize this logo”.
Does this CMYK match my brand guidelines?
Not necessarily. It is an estimate calculated for standard offset printing. If your brand guidelines list CMYK values, send those to your printer instead.
Why is a color flagged as too bright?
Some screen colors go beyond what the four process inks can print, so they come out duller on paper. To keep them, your printer can use a spot color.
What about Pantone?
Pantone references are protected, so we don’t give any Pantone match. Give your printer the HEX and the CMYK estimate: they will pick the reference from their swatch book. You can also check pantone.com. PANTONE® is a trademark of Pantone LLC.
Why does white have no CMYK?
In CMYK, white is the paper itself: no ink is printed. On a t-shirt or colored paper, ask your printer for white ink.
Sources and license: CMYK is calculated with Little CMS and the FOGRA39L Coated profile (free data from colord, zlib license), for offset printing on coated paper. Color differences are measured in CIEDE2000.
